Peter Zonnevylle

Director – Information Technology

After graduating with a Bachelor of Law Peter began his recruitment career with McGregor Boyall Associates in 1997, specialising in sourcing IT professionals for clients working in the London and Frankfurt financial markets.

He relocated to Australia in 1999, managing several high-profile accounts for Candle IT, including Westpac. During his time as Candle’s general manager, NSW, the business experienced its’ three most profitable years of growth. Peter established SustainAbility Consulting with Martin O’Donnell in 2008.

Edward Mills

Director – Information Technology

After a career in Urban Architecture in the UK Edward moved to Australia in 2005, reinventing himself in IT recruitment.

Joining the Interpro Group he managed the wealth and trading divisions of the Commonwealth Bank and became the number one IT provider across the bank.

The opportunity arose to move within the group to TRA Global to build a niche vertical market team; from here he continued to grow as the top-billing consultant, before taking P&L and management responsibility for the TRA team in Australia.

Ben Athey

Director – Information Technology

Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within IT recruitment, having worked for one of Australia’s largest specialists for 15 years.

Ben has held numerous roles from consultant, to manager of major accounts, vertical specialist team manager and sales manager. He has recruited, managed and led teams of up to 10 specialist consultants, as well as personally keeping his finger on the pulse in the market, always maintaining client relationship management and sales focus.

Ben’s success is demonstrable through his loyal client base, from ASX listed companies to the SME market.

Riley Smith

Consultant – Infrastructure

Riley started his career in Townsville in IT support, due to a keen interest in technology. This eventuated in the complete IT management of a small recruitment business, including an Office365 and CRM implementation.

He then moved to Brisbane to pursue a career in recruitment where he was tasked with starting the Infrastructure and DevOps desk for a boutique IT recruitment firm. Specialising in a micro-niche area meant that Riley participated in industry networking events, such as the AWS and DevOps User Groups. He grew his technical knowledge in the space and forged strong relationships with clients and candidates.

The technical nature of Riley’s knowledge allows him to have a true consultative style over and above transactional recruitment.

George Double

Consultant – Software Development

After graduating with a degree in finance George started his career working in London’s financial markets working with a top tier investment bank. After a stint working as an accountant in France, George migrated to Australia where he has combined his flair for B2B sales and passion for technology with SustainAbility, working on our software development team, with a focus on front end web application development.

George is intrigued about what drives each individual person, allowing him to place candidates on more than just technical skill alone. Likewise he recognises culture fit and communication skills are as imperative as technical ability to our clients.

Andy Hardwick

Consultant – Project Services

Andy Hardwick is a Senior Consultant who has a Degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex, a background in financial services and over six years recruitment experience.

With a truly consultative approach and previous experience in executive search, Andy is passionate about always taking the time to truly understand the motivations and requirements of both clients and candidates ensuring the highest possible quality of service and delivery.

Andy specialises purely in the Project Management space which provides a niche expertise and the ability to quickly source the best talent and opportunities in the market.

Meet the Accounting & Finance Team

Martin O’Donnell

Director – Accounting

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Martin entered the recruitment industry in 1997 with Badenoch and Clark, recruiting accounting contract staff for a wide variety of corporate commerce and industry clients in London.

Martin moved to Australia in 1999 and joined Hamilton James and Bruce and was responsible for the management of a number of their Accounting divisions including the Commerce, Financial Services and Government teams.

In 2003 he joined Charterhouse Partnership as an Associate Director with the mandate to assist the start-up organisation grow to become a leading recruitment brand within Australia and Asia, before moving on to set up SustainAbility with Peter in 2008.

Robert Ladak

Consultant – Accounting

After graduating university with a degree in Sport Psychology, Robert began his recruitment career in London sourcing Clinical Research Associates throughout Europe for various Clinical Research Organisations. He was then charged with building a new desk within the UK Regulatory Affairs market where he built and maintained relationships with global pharmaceuticals including Omega, AbbVie and Reckitt Benckiser.

After relocating to Australia in 2015, Robert now sources Accounting and Finance professionals for a range of contract roles in SME’s and Large Global organisations within the Sydney Commerce & Industry sector.

Scott Allen

Consultant – Accounting

Scott has been recruiting in the Sydney market since 2011, starting his career with Keegan Adams where he focused on temporary recruitment across a number of industries before moving to accounting specialists West Recruitment where he focused on temporary and permanent roles in the qualified and part-qualified accounting market.

His experience has seen him recruit across all regions of Sydney forging strong relationships with clients and candidates alike. In 2016 Scott continued his career growth and joined SustainAbilty to focus on permanent recruitment in the qualified accounting market for the Sydney region.

“Established in 1989, Stepping Stone House is a not for profit organisation providing medium to long term accommodation and development for young people who are homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness or are living away from their families aged 12 to 24 years old. The aim is to develop their self-esteem, resilience, self-confidence and good health through motivational experiential learning including outdoor education and adventure so that they achieve responsible independence and be the best they can be.”
