Trust Officer | Highly Reputable Global Law Firm | 12 Month FTC

Our client are an established Global Law Firm located in prestigious offices in the Sydney CBD. Due to their continued success and growth there is an opportunity for an experienced Trust Officer to join their existing team until May 2018.

As a Trust Officer you will be responsible for the firms Controlled Monies and Trust Accounts for the Sydney Office. The key function of this role is to ensure efficient cashflow for the firm and the availability of funds. Responsibilities will include:
    • Client maintenance
    • Processing trust bank statements and trust bank reconciliations
    • Preparation of trust account cheques and processing of Trust to Office transfers
    • Receipting of trust funds and cheques
    • Opening, closing and withdrawing from investment accounts
    • Trust reporting
    • Assisting with trust audits and clearance of unallocated funds
    • Responding to general queries
The successful candidate will have previous trust experience in a professional services environment with preference given to applicants who have worked in the legal industry. You will have a solid understanding of trust accounts and the relative Australian rules and regulations.
