Full-stack .Net Developer (6-month contract)

An iconic Australian insurance company is undergoing a new internal systems  transformation and is seeking full-stack contractors to scale their development capabilities and bring the project in on time.

COMPANY:

This company is well established in the Australian Market and is transforming their capabilities in order to bring new and better services to the market.

This involves a new system architecture, deployed into a hybrid of public and private clouds.

ROLE:

You will join the existing team with the purpose of breaking down the legacy monolith into .Net core microservices. The new system will be built and deployed into both public and private clouds (Azure). 

There is also a front-end transformation, involving a rebranding of the customer facing platform. This includes a migration from WPF to Angular 7 on the front-end. 

YOU:

You have a deep understanding of C# programming and object-oriented principles and design patterns. You have experience in breaking down legacy code and re-designing these systems into microservices.

You have worked with either Azure cloud services and can provide the best solutions for deploying into the cloud.

Your Unit Testing is thorough, your tests are very well written, and you have a great knowledge with SQL Server, optimised queries, and stored procedures.

Lastly, you are able to write a single page UI application in Angular and have demonstrable experience developing user interfaces that have gone into production.
