Assistant Accountant

Well-known in their competitive and fast-paced industry, this business has seen significant growth in recent years. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for someone who can manage large dollar value operational expenses to ensure accuracy as part of the approval process and assist with some general accounting duties.

Reporting to the Finance Manager some of your tasks will involve:
  • Journal processing including monthly prepayments & allocations
  • Month-end accruals and end of month expense reviews
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Relationship management with stakeholders
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable function
We are looking to connect with candidates who have experience dealing with large value operational expenses, you will need to learn a complex chart of accounts and be adaptable to new systems and processes whilst continually striving for improvements.

To be considered you must be a strong communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. You must also hold a degree qualification in accounting or a similar field. You will be asked to demonstrate previous experience managing high value expenses and give examples of your ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
