Payroll Team Leader

An internal promotion has left this rapidly-growing business in need of a new Payroll Team Leader to come in and help oversee the daily payroll function. This modern, progressive and social organisation is market-leaders in their industry and they’re big on looking after their people.
  
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the fast-paced daily function of the payroll department are performed to policy. You’ll leading, managing and developing and established team of 8. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
  
Reporting to the Payroll manager, responsibilities in the role include:
  • Ensuring internal customer queries are handled in a timely manner
  • Liaising with managers and proactively dealing with an issues 
  • Ensuring Payroll Reports are compliant with all relevant legislations
  • Checking and reconciling payroll reports
  • Assist in updating the payroll system
  • Assisting with year-end
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, flexible and thrive in a team environment. We’re looking for a strong communicator, with a pleasant and professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Management experience is essential, and experience with Chris21 or ADP will be highly considered.
