Business Development Manager

My client are a Global award winning BI, Data & Analytics provider who are looking to expand their Sydney office. Working as a Business Development Manager in this acquisition focused role, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from initial deal qualification to close. This leader in the Gartner magic quadrant are currently investing heavily into their APAC sales team and are looking for top performers to continue their expansion 
The Role
  • Proactive outbound 'hunting' activity to generate new business, targeting the mid-market & enterprise sectors 
  • Selling Microsoft infrastructure solutions, customised software development including mobile apps dev (ioS and Android), security ad networking solutions, managed services, professional services and project consulting 
  • Identifying, qualifying, acquiring and growing relationships within a number of stakeholders and customers
  • Effectively managing a NSW geographical territory, pipeline creation, accurate budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage and track your activities via a CRM system 
Skills Required
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in selling IT  / Software solutions, ideally working for a technology partner or leading national IT systems integrator or solutions providers
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud and database solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business sales targets
  • Outgoing, energetic, driven personality
  • Superior presentation and communications skills 
  • A comprehensive understanding of solution selling methodologies
Base salary between $100k - $120k + super, with uncapped OTE's of $200k+
