Two Helpdesk Roles - 24*7 environment - Sydney South

The Company

Is global player in the freight and logistics industry. They have a down to earth, call a spade a spade culture.

They are a bit removed from public transport, so a car is needed though on the flip side there is parking on site.

The role

Providing 1st level helpdesk support to their local team.

They run a Windows environment. Atlassian Helpdesk Tools (Jira). They run a number of inhouse applications as well as the standard MS Office suite.

Most of the issues relate to password issues, connectivity, logins, etc. Classic first level support.

They do though run a 24x7 environment - so people do 12 hr shifts - the roster tends to be a few days on, a few days off. You end up getting 14 days off a month - so loads of time to play golf, go cycling, hit the surf, spend time with the family.

YOU DO THOUGH ABSOLUTELY NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE DOING NITE SHIFT AND WEEKEND WORK. DO NOT APPLY IF THIS DOESN'T SUIT YOU.
