They have a corporate, professional culture. Polished.
The roleThe company's IT group has been through a reasonable amount of change - adopting a new CRM, embracing agile, moving to a public cloud backbone, moving to Office365, and they are soon moving to a new version of their core platform.
Their risk policies and settings have also been adapted and tweaked on the fly, but they have now reached a point where they want to overhaul their risk policies, processes, frameworks, etc. Rather than take a piecemeal approach, overhaul all of them, put in place a solid & clear diary of key tasks & events to ensure ongoing compliance, and essentially own, manage and champion the IT risk function.
The role is though a role where you have to wear all the hats - audit, ensuring compliance, consulting on projects, process reengineering, etc You manage the function, rather than a team.
It's the perfect role for a experienced IT risk analyst/consultant looking to take the next step - a brilliant stepping stone to a move into Head of GRC roles in a few years time.
