ITIL Specialist - overhaul Incident, Problem & Change - 130K base

Sydney | Full Time
Listed: 2021-09-21
The company

Two well established players in the finance space recently joined forces.

They are based in the CBD of Sydney, have excellent reputations in their domains, and have a quality brand and a quality culture.

The role can largely be worked remotely: Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay - they are all options. You would still need to be able to come to Sydney occasionally though.

The role

The newly married couple want to overhaul & better align their ITIL processes: problem management, incident management, change and release.

The companies are though both at difference stages of maturity in terms of ITIL. One has a real agile-software development flavour, the other a more traditional-desktop/server shop (though they do have an in house dev team, and run heavily on a public cloud backend).

Your initial task will be to conduct a thorough gap analysis around those ITIL structures in both sides of the business. Having done that, it will be a matter of designing and implementing those processes. This will involve ensuring the key stakeholders are engaged and their inputs captured.

Then you'll be a key person in making those processes work, so you'll be there to help put the rubber to the road so to speak. That will no doubt involve the refinement and tweaking of some of the processes to ensure they are optimized for the business.

So what are we looking for
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience making ITIL work across infrastructure & development groups
  • Excellent communication skills
What's in it for you?

  • The chance to own ITIL for a blue chip business & brand
  • Great offices (and scope to largely WFH)
  • A professional though friendly culture
  • A very healthy $130K base (plus super and regular salary reviews)
Sounds great? Well apply now. No need for a cover letter. Your CV will speak for itself.
