Desktop Support Engineer - 80K base - blue chip environment

The company

A mid-tier player in the finance space. Very well known, well respected business. They have a professional though down to earth culture.

The role is based in the CBD. There is though scope to do up to 3 days a week WFH.

The role

The company is a modern Wintel shop. Office365 the key desktop app (it sits along side other off the shelf apps and bespoke systems). They run off an Azure backbone.

This is not a 1st level support role - basics like can't print, forgot my password and handled by Level 1. This is more in depth, largely face to face support. Technical skills are important, but providing an excellent customer experience is really the heart of the role

So what are we looking for?

A solid IT support background. Ideally in a face to face setting, but that's not essential. 

A strong customer service ethic is though essential. As are excellent communication skills.

Certs would be a bonus (MS, Cisco, ITIL).
