The roleThe company is on a public cloud journey. Many of their key apps & systems now run on an AWS backend. They are now looking to better integrate their systems: Salesforce (their CRM), their payments platforms, their policy engine, external platforms, etc. They are also transitioning to a hardcore agile/DevOps style of development
The Solutions Architect would be joining to take solutions from a conceptual vision through to very detailed specs for the dev teams. Public Cloud (AWS) and integration tools (Mulesoft) will certainly be key parts of the architecture landscape, as will Agile & DevOps. As such, experience with any/all would be highly regarded.
You also need to be a strong communicator. You'll be dealing with stakeholders across IT and the business, and the ability to both engage & influence is key.
