Peter co-founded Sustainability Consulting in 2008 with Martin O’Donnell, where he bring 20+ years’ in the Sydney technology market to focus on senior leadership roles ranging from head of engineering to CTO & CIO. Peter also sits on the board as an advisor across the SustainAbility group.
Peter previously spent 9 years with ASX listed Candle Australia, where he progressed from new business development consultant to become the youngest ever GM of their Sydney head office, leading a team of 40 recruiters through their 3 most profitable years of growth. Prior to relocating to Australia in 1999 Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Law and spent 2 years with McGregor Boyall Associates, sourcing IT professionals for the London and Frankfurt financial markets.

Ed brings 15 years of recruitment experience in the IT projects & architecture space. Whilst he is hands-on, Edward also oversees a team responsible for delivering across Architecture, PMO, Business & Data Analysis, QA & Agile transformation (Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters).
Edward’s experience includes coaching junior consultants and leading seniors to management, as well as board advisor roles across the larger group. Always focussed on the customer and candidate experience, Edward helps manage delivery and relationships with some of the group’s largest clients.
Edward’s approach to all he does is open communication, collaboration and ethical recruitment – living the company values every day.
Previously having six years with the Interpro Group, he managed the wealth and trading divisions of the Commonwealth Bank and became the number one IT provider. An internal opportunity arose to move within the group to TRA Global to build a niche vertical market team; from here he continued to grow as the top-billing consultant, before taking P&L and management responsibility for the TRA team in Australia.

As a highly motivated sales leader, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge spanning almost 20 years in the Sydney IT recruitment market, specifically within Business Intelligence, Data, and Infrastructure. In addition to his current sales leadership responsibilities, Ben sits on the board of Sustain Health in an advisory capacity.
Ben has held numerous roles in his career from Consultant to Key Account Manager and Sales Manager. He has recruited, managed and led teams, as well as personally kept his finger on the pulse in the market – always maintaining direct client relationships with a focus on long-term partnerships. Ben’s success is demonstrable through his loyal client base and tenure of industry relationships.

Martin co-founded SustainAbility in 2008 and has recruited senior finance staff in Sydney since 1999. Managing a team of experienced, specialist, finance recruiters SustainAbility offers a turn-key recruitment solution to all our clients’ accounting recruitment needs – from senior through to junior positions.
As well as being a co-director of SustainAbilty, Martin also assisted with the establishment of our sister companies – Lotus People in 2015, SustainDigital in 2016 and SustainHealth in 2017. He now sits on the board of all three organisations, assisting with driving the strategy and operations of all the brands.
Technical Java Consultant
Max kicked off his recruitment career in early 2017, working the Software Development market in the South of England. He established himself as one of the top consultants for a global recruitment agency, progressing through the ranks from Junior, Consultant, Senior to Lead, within a 2.5 year period.
His role here is to help grow Sydney’s Java and PHP development teams. He believes technology has no limits and feels the same about the clients he partners with.

Senior Consultant – Contract Business Analysts / QA / Scrum Masters
After graduating university with a degree in Sport Psychology, Rob began his recruitment career in London sourcing pharmaceutical professionals throughout Europe. After building out a new market for two years within the niche Regulatory Affairs space, he decided to move to the sunnier shores of Sydney in early 2015. For three years, Rob headed up our Finance Transformation contract desk, supporting a range of SME’s and large corporates during periods of financial change. He now looks after our contract Business Analyst desk, sourcing a range of BAs from functional specialists through to digital subject matter expects for a variety of high-profile projects.
Technical DevOps Consultant
Before starting his career in recruitment, Tom had seven years’ experience in customer service and account management, working his way up into team management for a global IT business. During his tenure, he built strong working relationships with both candidates and clients and is looking to apply these skills to the recruitment industry.
Tom is focusing on sourcing quality talent across the technical team on a broad range of roles.
Business Intelligence and Big Data Consultant
Carl has been recruiting for over 8 years across London & Sydney. Initially focused on finance, he then switched his focus to Business Intelligence & Data where he has built a strong Sydney offering across all variations from Data Engineering, Warehousing, to Visualisation. His informative & friendly approach has been pivotal in creating long lasting relationships with both clients and candidates alike.
Researcher – IT
With a degree in Public Relations and Business from Charles Sturt University, Abbey has 6 years’ customer service experience and gained international experience working on stakeholder management. Abbey is passionate about networking with Sydney’s top talent in the tech industry and aims to maintain strong relationships with her candidates to match them with their ideal opportunity.
Senior Consultant – Contract Accounting and Finance
Scott has been recruiting in the Sydney market since 2011, starting his career with Keegan Adams where he focused on temporary recruitment across a number of industries before moving to Accounting specialists, West Recruitment. There he focused on temporary and permanent roles in the qualified and part-qualified Accounting market.
His experience has seen him recruit across all regions of Sydney, forging strong relationships with clients and candidates alike. In 2016, Scott continued his career growth and joined SustainAbilty to focus on contract recruitment in the qualified Accounting market for the Sydney region.
Consultant – Accounting
Julie is a degree-qualified Accountant whose career commenced in 2014 at BDO, where she completed a cadetship in Private Clients. She then joined Deloitte Private’s Family Enterprise Advisory division, providing taxation and advisory services for small to medium privately owned businesses and high net-worth individuals.
After graduating from a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and HR) in 2018, Julie decided to pursue a career in recruitment as she is passionate about connecting Finance and Accounting professionals to jobs that utilise their strengths and align with their goals.
