Peter co-founded Sustainability Consulting in 2008 with Martin O’Donnell, where he bring 20+ years’ in the Sydney technology market to focus on senior leadership roles ranging from head of engineering to CTO & CIO. Peter also sits on the board as an advisor across the SustainAbility group.
Peter previously spent 9 years with ASX listed Candle Australia, where he progressed from new business development consultant to become the youngest ever GM of their Sydney head office, leading a team of 40 recruiters through their 3 most profitable years of growth. Prior to relocating to Australia in 1999 Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Law and spent 2 years with McGregor Boyall Associates, sourcing IT professionals for the London and Frankfurt financial markets.

Ed brings 15 years of recruitment experience in the IT projects & architecture space. Whilst he is hands-on, Edward also oversees a team responsible for delivering across Architecture, PMO, Business & Data Analysis, QA & Agile transformation (Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters).
Edward’s experience includes coaching junior consultants and leading seniors to management, as well as board advisor roles across the larger group. Always focussed on the customer and candidate experience, Edward helps manage delivery and relationships with some of the group’s largest clients.
Edward’s approach to all he does is open communication, collaboration and ethical recruitment – living the company values every day.
Previously having six years with the Interpro Group, he managed the wealth and trading divisions of the Commonwealth Bank and became the number one IT provider. An internal opportunity arose to move within the group to TRA Global to build a niche vertical market team; from here he continued to grow as the top-billing consultant, before taking P&L and management responsibility for the TRA team in Australia.

As a highly motivated sales leader, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge spanning almost 20 years in the Sydney IT recruitment market, specifically within Business Intelligence, Data, and Infrastructure. In addition to his current sales leadership responsibilities, Ben sits on the board of Sustain Health in an advisory capacity.
Ben has held numerous roles in his career from Consultant to Key Account Manager and Sales Manager. He has recruited, managed and led teams, as well as personally kept his finger on the pulse in the market – always maintaining direct client relationships with a focus on long-term partnerships. Ben’s success is demonstrable through his loyal client base and tenure of industry relationships.

Martin co-founded SustainAbility in 2008 and has recruited senior finance staff in Sydney since 1999. Managing a team of experienced, specialist, finance recruiters SustainAbility offers a turn-key recruitment solution to all our clients’ accounting recruitment needs – from senior through to junior positions.
As well as being a co-director of SustainAbilty, Martin also assisted with the establishment of our sister companies – Lotus People in 2015, SustainDigital in 2016 and SustainHealth in 2017. He now sits on the board of all three organisations, assisting with driving the strategy and operations of all the brands.
Senior Consultant – Technical Sales
Ben is a graduate from Newcastle Business School with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing. He entered the world of recruitment over six years ago at one of the UK’s largest recruitment agencies, where he specialised in commercial roles based in the North East of England for four successful years. He then made the move to Australia two years ago to specialise in the niche Software Sales market, which he has grown very passionate about. He recently joined the SustainAbility team to expand the business into the Sydney Sales market.
Ben is well known in the market as a trusted, transparent recruiter who understands the Sydney Sales market in depth. He is passionate about building relationships with candidates and clients alike, and works with a large number of companies ranging from Hyper-Growth Tech start-ups to multinational blue-chip organisations. These consist of a variety of Software vendors, IT and Telecommunications vendors, Professional Service Providers, Systems Integrators, Consultancies, Analytics & Big Data, Consumer Insights and Market Research companies.
Technical DevOps and Cloud Consultant
After graduating with a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Tayler started her career with West Lancs Borough Council, coordinating local elections, the EU Referendum and fundraising events for the Mayor of West Lancs. After relocating to Sydney, Tayler joined the SustainAbility team to pursue her interest for contemporary technology and building long-lasting relationships with people.
.NET / Microsoft Team Lead
After graduating with a History degree, Tim entered the world of recruitment back in 2013, recruiting for engineering development teams across the South East of England. Since late 2016, Tim has been matching some of the best .net developers Sydney has to offer with awesome opportunities.
Tim prides himself on being a transparent, genuine recruiter who adds real value to Sydney’s software development market. Whether you are looking for your next position, searching for a new engineer or just interested in hearing about the market, Tim is always available for a coffee or a quick chat.
Laurence is an experienced People and Culture specialist. He is inspired to create optimal working environments that bring the best out of the people who inhabit them. He has over 10 years’ experience building powerful teams in some of Australia’s most well-known brands.
Laurence has now taken to consulting for Sydney’s best .Net development environments. Here he can share his keen eye for connecting people with team dynamics that allow them to thrive.
Senior Consultant – Contract Business Analysts / QA / Scrum Masters
After graduating university with a degree in Sport Psychology, Rob began his recruitment career in London sourcing pharmaceutical professionals throughout Europe. After building out a new market for two years within the niche Regulatory Affairs space, he decided to move to the sunnier shores of Sydney in early 2015. For three years, Rob headed up our Finance Transformation contract desk, supporting a range of SME’s and large corporates during periods of financial change. He now looks after our contract Business Analyst desk, sourcing a range of BAs from functional specialists through to digital subject matter expects for a variety of high-profile projects.
Resourcer – IT
Before starting his career in recruitment, Tom had seven years’ experience in customer service and account management, working his way up into team management for a global IT business. During his tenure, he built strong working relationships with both candidates and clients and is looking to apply these skills to the recruitment industry.
Tom is focusing on sourcing quality talent across the technical team on a broad range of roles.
Cyber Security Consultant
After graduating with a degree in Business Management, Rachael started her career in recruitment specialising in the Embedded Software and Electronics market.
Rachael moved on to focus on placing both Fullstack and Java professionals, before deciding to pack up her life in the UK and move down under in 2018!
With close to three years of recruitment experience, she will be focusing on the booming Cyber Security market.
Senior Consultant – Contract Accounting and Finance
Scott has been recruiting in the Sydney market since 2011, starting his career with Keegan Adams where he focused on temporary recruitment across a number of industries before moving to Accounting specialists, West Recruitment. There he focused on temporary and permanent roles in the qualified and part-qualified Accounting market.
His experience has seen him recruit across all regions of Sydney, forging strong relationships with clients and candidates alike. In 2016, Scott continued his career growth and joined SustainAbilty to focus on contract recruitment in the qualified Accounting market for the Sydney region.
Consultant – Accounting
Julie is a degree-qualified Accountant whose career commenced in 2014 at BDO, where she completed a cadetship in Private Clients. She then joined Deloitte Private’s Family Enterprise Advisory division, providing taxation and advisory services for small to medium privately owned businesses and high net-worth individuals.
After graduating from a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and HR) in 2018, Julie decided to pursue a career in recruitment as she is passionate about connecting Finance and Accounting professionals to jobs that utilise their strengths and align with their goals.
Senior Consultant - Accounting and Finance
Carl is a well-travelled languages graduate speaking Spanish, Russian and Portuguese. He started out his recruitment career in London – setting up a Finance and Accounting division within his company there.
With six years of experience in the recruitment industry, Carl joined SustainAbility in 2018, where he specialises in mid-senior level Finance and Accounting permanent placements.
Resourcer – Accounting and Finance
Before starting his career in recruitment, Will had been honing his sales and relationship management skills as an Account Manager. This experience developed his passion for helping people and his favourite part of recruitment is developing relationships with candidates to help them find that perfect next role.
Originally from New Zealand, he moved to Sydney to chase the sun and enjoy the beach lifestyle Sydney is famous for. As our first New Zealander, he’s keen to bring his friendly Kiwi personality to the Sydney recruitment market.
